Samsung may soon add a new Galaxy series device dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Q. As reported by SamsungHub, it is anticipated that the launch of Samsung Galaxy Q in the US by the year end would enable Samsung to take on its rival Blackberry. The leaked specifications of Samsung Galaxy Q suggest that the device will sport a 3 inch multitouch Super AMOLED screen with a QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz Hummingbird processor and will be powered by Android 2.2. The device will be equipped with a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera with a 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash. The smartphone weighs about 108 grams and features 120mm x 68mm x 9.25mm dimensions. With a 1500mAh battery, the phone offers 7.5 hours of talktime and a standby time of 510 hours. Samsung Galaxy Q will support internal memory of 16GB with external memory up to 32GB. For connectivity, Micro USB, Mini HDMI, A-GPS, Wi-fi and Bluetooth can be used. (via: SamsungHub)
