Motorola unveiled Milestone XT720 and Backflip smartphones in the Indian market. XT720 is among the first slimmest Android based smartphone, which promises to deliver high-definition video experience. It boasts of an 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and 10x digital zoom abilities. In addition, the camera offers support for features such as Smart Image Capture with utilities like camera shake prevention, red eye reduction, face filter, multi-shot, face detection and easy panorama. An HDMI cable enables the user to view the HD video directly on an HD TV. The XT720 is a 3G compatible smartphone, which offers a 3.7 inch touchscreen display with WVGA resolution. It measures 10.9mm thick and comes loaded with Android 2.1. The device includes an 8GB microSD card while supporting cards of up to 32GB display.         Motorola Backflip is the world's first reverse-flip design handset, which comes loaded with BACKTRACK™, which is a touch panel located on the other end of the phone. User can view photos, videos and listen to music while accessing emails, news feeds, social network messages and much more. The smartphone comes with a friction hinge for allowing the QWERTY keyboard to flip underneath while working in tabletop mode. In terms of display specifications, the device sports a 3.1 inch HVGA screen and includes a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus LED flash abilities. Some of the key features include expandable memory of up to 32GB, 3.5 mm headset audio jack, MPEG 4 capability, stereo Bluetooth and GPS. All Backflip users can manage their time easily by using the phone as an alarm. Milestone XT720 and the Backflip are expected to be priced at about Rs. 34,490 and Rs. 22,990 in India.
