Samsung launches smartphone 'Jet' for the global market, keeps India price Rs 24,150

Samsung has added a new smartphone to its portfolio as yesterday it launched 'Samsung Jet' in Singapore. The phone is priced at Rs 24,150 and will be available in India by the end of this month. The company claims that the new 'Samsung Jet' is a smartphone with very user friendly features. The Jet also incorporates 16M WVGA AMOLED display (3.1”) which offers the most vivid and colorful full touch mobile experience available, as claimed by the company and it is said to provide four times higher resolution than a WQVGA screen. The phone is also powered by a 800MHz application processor which makes it one of the fastest full touch handset on the market today. The phone is 3G compatible and comes with an on-board memory of 2GB expandable up to 16 GB. Samsung Jet also features a 5 mega-pixel auto focus camera, built-in GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, DNSe & SRS Sound Effect technology and DivX and XviD video support. The phone also comes with Samsung's proprietary Dolphin internet browser.
