Samsung expands its bada line with the launch of Wave 723 handset

Samsung Wave 723  (GT-S7320E) is Samsung's new product offering in the Bada line up. It is the fourth member in the Bada family and is expected to be priced lower than the Samsung Wave. However, it may cost higher than the Wave 2 and Wave 2 Pro. The Wave 723 sports a metallic back cover and comes with a 11.8mm screen display. Reportedly, the key features of this device include Wi-Fi 802.11n, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, a 3.2-inch TFT LCD, Social Hub, Samsung Apps support, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slot, flip leather cover and a dedicated camera button. The new offering is developed using the bada SDK 1.1 and offers support for AutoUI Scaling, which enables developers to port their existing bada apps without any complexity. The Samsung Wave 723 would be first available for sale in Germany in September this year followed by further release in African, Middle East Asia, Southeast Asia and European countries.
