LG has launched 3G-enabled LG GW620 Android mobile phone in India

After the successful launch of LG Cookie Pep in India recently, LG has released a new device based on Android OS, a platfrom similar to newly launched Motorola Milestone. Equipped with 5-line QWERTY keypad with S-Class UI, LG GW620 runs Android OS, v1.5 (Cupcake). The device comes with a 5 megapixel camera with face tracking & smile shot and a 7.62 cm, TFT resistive touchscreen display. It also offers Moxier Mails (Push Email) and social networking service manager. A Wi-Fi & GPS enabled device, LG GW620 phone is fully loaded with Android features & applications. With SNS inbuilt client featuring Facebook, Bebo and Twitter, the phone comes with Video Editor, Media Player, Quick Office, Google Apps, YouTube, free apps, games, wallpapers etc. LG GW620 comes preloaded with Java downloads and offers Luminance Sensor Mode that automatically adjusts the screen brightness. Equipped with dynamic phonebook and SMS memory, the phone has 166MB of internal memory and external memory slot of Micro SD up to 32GB.The phone offers GPRS, EDGE, USB 2.0, WAP 2.0 and Bluetooth connectivity. The device features 1500mAh battery with a talk time up to 8 hrs 20 min. LG GW620 phone is now available at a market retail price of Rs. 16,490 in India.
