Motorola today launched its latest fashion-phone 'AURA' in the Indian market. Priced at a whooping Rs 1,11,000, the AURA is the first phone in the market to feature an oval display screen. AURA is Motorola's latest high-tier mobile device targeted at the trend-setter Indian who has a taste for the exquisitely stylish, unrivalled quality and sensuous luxury, said the company on Friday. The phone was launched by the Bollywood celebrity and Motorola's brand ambassador Abhishek Bachchan, who presented the first Aura to fashion designer Manish Malhotra yesterday in Mumbai. Motorola AURA’s specifications are certainly impressive. The device apparently consists of over 700 individual components whilst its Swiss made ‘assisted-opening’ blade mechanism alone utilizes no less than 130 precision ball bearings and three tungsten carbon carbide coated main gears. Additionally you’re looking at stainless steel housing complete with chemically etched details finished with a protective PVD, mirror finished coating the same as used on luxury watches.
