Dell has now officially unveiled its Android tablet device Dell Streak in India

As reported earlier, Dell Streak is now launched in India. There has been a race against time for the launch of tablet devices in India. Earlier, OlivePad, Spice Android tablets, Bindatone Home Surf were announced in India. While Samsung Galaxy Tab is eagerly anticipated, Dell has managed to launch its Android tablet device Dell Streak in India.Dell Streak is a perfectly-sized, go-anywhere entertainment, social connection and navigation device. The Dell Streak is a hybrid device that comes with its unique form factor which distinguishes it from all the tablets that are soon to be launched. Additionally, the Android tablet device can be used as a smartphone within standard dimensions.The key features of Dell Streak include widescreen display optimally designed for mobile Web, video and movies. It comes integrated with social networking widgets and apps, plus tons of apps through the Android Marketplace. The device sports a sharp 5-inch capacitive multi-touch WVGA (800x480) display and crystal-clear, scratch-resistant Gorilla glass screen.The Dell Streak is equipped with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash, VGA front-facing camera and a fast 1GHz Snapdragon ARM-based mobile processor from Qualcomm. The device is further integrated with 3G + Wi-Fi (802.11b/g) + Bluetooth 2.1, a  3.5mm headphone jack and Micro SD slot expandable up to 32GB. Preloaded with a a customized multi-touch version of the Google Android operating system, the device offers access to over 38,000  apps via the Android Marketplace. It comes with Microsoft Exchange connectivity, Google Voice support, integrated Google Maps with voice-activated search, turn-by-turn navigation, street and satellite views. You can get quick access to integrated social network app widgets like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube with this device.The Dell Streak is priced at Rs. 34,990 in India. You can get 500MB free data usage per month with Tata DOCOMO postpaid subscription.
