After introducing a range of music phones, Spice Mobiles Ltd. launched a new sports mobile phone, M-6 in India, as part of its aggressive marketing strategy. M-6 is specifically designed for sports aficionados who consistently want to receive all latest sports updates and stay connected with their friends. The phone offers utilities such as Java Applications, Social Networking and Sports. A dedicated "Sports Zone" is provided to the user with applications such as Yahoo Formula 1, Yahoo Tennis and Yahoo Sports. M-6 has a strong built with a rugged look and feel. In addition, the handset supports social networking through Nimbuzz, Yahoo and Facebook. It features a Video sharing application Vuclip and Opera Mini web browser. The Multi-SIM phone is available in black color with dashes of orange or green colour, which lends it a sporty look. With a 1000mAh battery, the phone supports a talk time of about 5 hours. M-6 includes a 1.3 megapixel camera with digital zoom abilities and a 2.2 inch QVGA TFT screen with 262k colours. Multiple entertainment options are provided to the user for playing content, which include FM Radio with Recording, an MP3 audio player, and a video player with 3GP and MP4 support. For network support and sharing, features such as GPRS, WAP and Stereo Bluetooth are offered by the phone. The sports phone offers expandable memory support of about 4GB.
