Samsung Wave, which is Samsung's first bada phone, has reached a new milestone as more than 1 million units of this smartphone device have been sold across the world in just about 4 weeks.On the other hand, SK Telecom reported that Samsung Galaxy S has proved to be the hottest selling phone in the South Korean market with sales of more than 300,000 units in a span of just 19 days, while 700,00 units were sold in the rest of the world.Samsung Wave is already getting rave reviews and this device is picking up very fast. However, the company is eyeing big target for the Samsung Galaxy S as they are estimating that the Android-powered Galaxy S will reach a total of 10 million unit sales in the coming months.The recent launch of Samsung Wave and Samsung Galaxy S, and the subsequent response the devices are getting from the users, would further bolster Samsung's growth in the smartphone segment, thereby recasting itself as a competitive market player in its niche segment.
