Sony Ericsson has now officially announced the launch of Vivaz which was earlier known as Kurara

It was Sony Ericsson Kurara that was making news late last year. But now Sony Ericsson Kurara launch has been officially confirmed; however, the new device will be called Vivaz.Sony Ericsson Vivaz comes with Symbian S60 and the phone is further equipped with a 3.2-inch (360 x 640) display, EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA 7.2 Mbit/s/HSUPA, GPS, WiFi and MicroSD support. However, the most appealing feature of the Sony Ericsson Vivaz is its 720p HD video recording coupled with an 8.1MP camera with face and smile detection technology.The other key features of Sony Ericsson Vivaz is 3G, Wi-Fi, TV out and GPS. Vivaz is fully-loaded with social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. The phone also features WisePilot software app to provide Google Maps along with turn-by-turn navigation.There is no official word on pricing or release date, but Sony Ericsson Vivaz is anticipated next month during Mobile World Congress.
