With range of new devices launched offering innovative features and value-for-money to the users, Micromax is now becoming a brand to reckon with in the mobile handset space in India. The new released Micromax Q6 is a successor to already popular Micromax Q7 mobile phone.Sharing somewhat similar specs as that of Micromax Q7, Micromax Q6 mobile is a slider style dual GSM-Dual-Band phone. The device offers 6 cms TFT QVGA screen display with 320*240 pixels. It offers a Land Slider QWERTY keypad and a 2 megapixel camera.Equipped with multi format music player supporting MP3, AMR, MIDI and WAV files, the handset packs a 3.5 mm audio jack. Micromax Q6 comes preloaded with background music playback with Yamaha Amplifier.The other key features of this device include one touch launch Facebook, preloaded Opera browser, multi-messenger Nimbuzz, stereo FM radio and video player. Micromax Q6 also offers games and messaging services. The device is enabled with Bluetooth (A2DP), EDGE, GPRS, WAP and MMS. It stores 1000 phonebook and 1000 sms entries and comes with expandable memory MicroSD card support up to 8 GB. The handset features 950mAh Li-ion battery that provides up to 7 hours of talk time and up to 9 days of standby time.Although the retail pricing of the device is not officially disclosed, Micromax Q6 is soon going to hit the stores in India.
