Samsung has officially announced a beta release of its bada SDK 1.0.0b2, Samsung's new open mobile platform

Samsung launched Bada Developers website early this year with the prime objective to assist developers become experts in bada development. However, the company promised that the actual bada SDK for the developers will be available in later stage. Finally, Samsung bada OS software development kit (SDK) is now released for developers to create their own applications.The bada platform allows developers to create feature-rich applications that elevate the user experience in mobile spaces. Furthermore, these applications can be deployed and tested on the highly anticipated Wave phone, which is Samsung’s first bada-powered device. The salient feature of this bada OS SDK includes a new UI framework that supports the next generation Samsung TouchWiz UI. Samsung bada supports a control for Adobe Flash, a web browser control, motion sensing, fine-tuned vibration control and face detection. It also introduces several new service-centric features such as social networking, content management, location-based services and commerce services - all supported by back-end bada servers.Before installing the SDK, make sure that your computer fulfills the system requirements and that the required software has been installed. Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating system. At least 1.4 GB of RAM memory. At least 1.8 GB of free disk space. Local administrator rights. The bada Simulator screen size is 480 * 800. If the screen resolution of your computer monitor is under 800, the Simulator does not show normally for applications that use OpenGL.
