The program aims at educating and creating awareness among the consumers about the importance of recycling e-waste. Samsung is making sincere efforts for creating a recycling based society, preserving the environment and efficient utilization of resources, through the STAR program. This initiative would definitely induce a behavioral change among the Indian consumers. "As a responsible corporate citizen, environmental protection is one of our key priorities. Beyond environmentally friendly products and manufacturing processes, we are aiming to address the important issue of e-waste management with the roll out of STAR program. This initiative reaffirms our commitment towards building awareness for responsible consumption/ waste management practices and ensuring proper end of life treatment to reduce the burden on the planet.
