Here's a good news for all those who were waiting for the official launch of magical and revolutionary product from Apple - The iPad. Apple has officially announced the release date for their new device. You can now pre-order Apple iPad via Apple Online Store from March 12. However, the Wifi-only version of iPad will be available for retail from April 3rd through Apple online and authorized resellers and the 3G-enabled iPad will hit the stores sometimes in April. For those who woke up late and still wondering what exactly is this iPad thing, here's a brief info on this magic slate: An all-in-one device, the touchscreen-enabled iPad Tablet is designed to browse the Web, read email and books and play games. The iPad device runs the same operating system as the iPhone. Furthermore, the device is compatible with Apple's iTunes store, built-in iPhoto and provides access to 140,000 apps on the App Store.
