Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, that offers best-in-class 3G speeds, the OliveSmart V-S300 runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The device sports a 4.1 inch multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor, Adreno 205 graphics engine, 3G HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity. The OliveSmart Android phone comes equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus, front camera, accelerometer, proximity sensor Bluetooth v2.1, 32 GB expandable memory and a 1400mAh battery backup.Launching the device, Mr Arun Khanna, Chairman, Olive Telecom said, "We are pleased to introduce a breakthrough convergence device which is more than a conventional smartphone and offers cutting edge services that will appeal to generation-Y." With our sizeable R&D investments in the Olive Convergence range of mobile computing and communication devices, we are well-positioned to compete with the world’s leading brands," he further added.The other key features of this device include Digital compass, Google Maps, Live TV and E-book reader along with other innovative features that include smooth texting, push e-mail, web browsing, wireless connectivity, multi-touch interface, social networking, 3.5 mm Audio Jack, Monster entertainment, 'Feel the Music', etc.The OliveSmart V-S300 will cost around Rs. 20,000 in the Indian market.
