Samsung has announced a new clamshell handset in its popular Corby range, the Corby Folder. The Samsung Corby Folder continues the accessible trends of the phones already released in the range, including the very popular – and not at all bad – Samsung Corby. As its title suggests, the Corby Folder is a clamshell phone. It’ll start its life off in Korea, but we expect it’s one phone that will be released in India soon - though prices and release dates have yet to be confirmed. Its feature list isn’t particularly impressive, with a 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a 2.6-inch QVGA screen on the cards, but if it’s going to be sold at a bargain price like the Genio Touch, it could well prove a hit. Then again, this is a more traditional device on some fronts, lacking a touchscreen and opting for buttons instead. We’ll keep an eye out for more details on the device for those of you that still prefer the comforting click of a button under your thumb.
