Samsung has launched the Idou in the World Mobile Congress at Barcelona as part of its 'Entertainment Unlimited' project for 2009. The Idou is designed to bring together the best of its Walkman and Cybershot ranges, as well as giving great support for Java gaming. You can watch a video of the phone in action here. The Idou is a touchscreen device with a widescreen display that will be fully integrated into the PlayNow™ service to allow you to eaily download applications and games from the thousands available online. The phone's meaty camera is perhaps the Idou's raison d'etre though, with its high megapixel count and Xenon flash. We'll be back with our views on the Idou's camera once we get our hands on it for a proper preview. The Idou will be made available in the 2nd half of 2009 but when it comes to India, would entirely be a guess work now.
