
Motorola unveils Backflip with MotoBlur

Motorola has unveiled its latest Android phone Backflip at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CSE)

Motorola Backflip is an Android-running smartphone with MotoBlur, a content-aggregating feature for this device.The key features of Motorola's Android phone Backflip include a 3.1-inch HVGA screen display with a 320 x 480 pixel resolution, QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, aGPS and a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash."Since introducing our first Motoblur-based device, we’ve remained focused on differentiating the Android experience and bringing it to new carrier partners around the globe," said Sanjay Jha, co-CEO of Motorola, in a statement. "Backflip maximizes the multi-tasking and multi-functional potential of Motoblur with its unique design elements, making it as smart as it is social." Backflip comes with Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, microSD card reader, 3G and EDGE/GPRS. The phone is also equipped with Motorola's MotoBlur social networking software. Users can access Facebook, MySpace, Twitter to stay connected and post messages through Backflip's MotoBlur feature.Motorola Backflip will be available in North America, Latin America, Europe and Asia in the beginning of the first quarter of 2010. However, the US carrier partner for this device has not been disclosed as yet.
