HTC has revealed its Magic handset, which will be Vodafone's first Android-powered mobile. It was formerly known as the Vodafone G2, and it'll be a Vodafone exclusive across several key European markets where Vodafone operates. The operator's Indian customers might well be expecting the availability of the phone here but there were no official announcements regarding this by the company. The handset features a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen. A tablet style device, it uses a trackball and navigational buttons for basic navigation alongside the screen itself. It'll include a variety of email capabilties built-in as standard, including Google Mail, POP3 and IMAP. Predictably, it will also come with a host of Google-related applications installed, including Google Maps, Google Search and Google Talk. Thanks to the Android Market though, you'll soon be able to customise your app roster as you see fit.A Vodafone spokesperson stressed the importance of bringing users an "unbeatable mobile internet experience" when talking about the HTC Magic, so we're fairly safe in assuming the device will come with WiFi and HSPA capabilities.  However, even if it comes to India, you won't get the real taste of the phone as the country still lacks 3G services.
