The innovative idea struck to Adam Gittlin, Founder, while his two and a half year old son asked him what a fingerprint is. He realized the list of words that we take for granted as an adult but can't explain to the toddlers. With the help of Educational Consultants from Stanford University and New York City's The Dalton School, as well as New York City based Digital Creative Agency Commercial Pop, they created GoodieWords - a first of its kind App for teaching toddlers hard-to-explain words/concepts.With today's cutting edge technology, they set out to create a tool that not only defines/explains these intriguing words with carefully orchestrated text to toddlers, but gives them a fun activity that highlights the chosen word in the context of the world we live in. The GoodieWords is a world of vocabulary learning and wonder filled with adorable characters, original music and world-class artwork. GoodieWords allows young children to learn harder words earlier. At the same time, it teaches them how to use the new hardware that is certain to be part of their lives for years to come.The app in its first two days reached the Top 10 in Education Apps as well as the The iTunes App Store's 'New and Noteworthy' Section.
