UK's free mobile service provider Blyk is considering an India entry. In UK the company offers free talk time and SMS facility to users who accept to receive sponsored advertisements on their mobile phones. In India, the company is currently talking to various operators to share their talktime and customer base. This is the typical case of Mobile Virtual Network Operators or MVNOs. They do not own any spectrum but partners with some existing operators for the talktime and offers innovative tariff plans to customers, most of the cases, offer free talktimes and SMS services in return of some ads. Customers who opt to receive ads on their mobile phones do get free talk times and texts. The UK based Blyk is said to have initiated talks with many leading operators in the country.
