Nokia unveils two new Xseries devices

Nokia has unveiled two new Xseries smartphone devices Nokia X5-01 and Nokia X6 8GB at the Nokia Connection event held in Singapore

Nokia has recently launched two new mobile phones in the entertainment-oriented Xseries range of consumer smartphones - Nokia X5-01 model and the Nokia X6 8GB. The square-shaped Nokia X5 reminds of a MiniDisc player in its pretty unique visual appearance. And rightly so, the device has its musical connection as Nokia X5 features excellent sound quality, dedicated music keys and loud speakers, and will include access to Ovi Music, and to Comes with Music in some regions.The Nokia X5 plugs part of the gap between the Nokia X3 and Nokia X6. The device comes integrated with social media and via a full QWERTY keyboard users can easily deliver tweets, status updates and text messages. The key features of Nokia X5 include a 5 megapixel camera, 4X digital zoom and an LED flash. The device packs 200 MB of onboard memory with a 2GB Micro-SD card, which can be upgraded up to 32GB. The device comes preloaded with all the major IM and webmail services along with easy access to social  networking sites that include Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Hi5. Nokia X5 boasts of an impressive battery which offers up to 16 days standby time or 24 hours music playback from a full charge.The phone also comes with some inventive features as users can spin the phone to switch to a new random track. You can get number of unread messages waiting from your friends by just shaking the device. Nokia X5-01 is slated to be launched in Indonesia during Q3, at an estimated retail price of EUR 165. However, the company has not disclosed its availability in other markets as yet.                         Nokia presented the second Xseries device Nokia X6 8GB at the Connection event. This device is a baby brother to the original Nokia X6 device – which came with 32GB – and the 16GB version that followed.
