Samsung has officially announced its cheapest touchscreen device Samsung Champ in India

The much awaited Samsung Champ, which was expected to foray into the Asian market by June, has finally hit the Indian market. Samsung Champ (C3300K) is the cheapest touchscreen phone available in the market to date that competes with Samsung's very own Star 3G and Corby brand phones in the market. The touchscreen phone includes a MicroSD card support, 1.3 megapixel camera and a mini 2.4 inches QVGA touchscreen display. With a battery capacity of 1000mAh, the device offers talk time of 12 hours and standby time of 666 hours. Connectivity is provided to the user through Bluetooth 2.1. Samsung Champ comes as a blessing for all the music aficionados as the device supports stereo speakers offering multimedia playback with 3D surround effect. Preloaded with Samsung Apps, it features a TouchWiz Lite UI with many home screen pages. The phone was launched in 4 colours internationally - pink, brown, white and black while the Indian market offers only the black one as of now. Samsung Champ is now available for sale in the price range of about Rs. 4,100 in India.
