But it may come to you as an utter surprise to know that now there is a Nokia concept phone that may be powered by sugary drinks. Working on a client project, Chinese designer Daizi Zheng has envisioned a conceptual mobile phone that will source its energy from Coca Cola. Zheng postulates that his latest experimental Nokia device will be powered by bio battery, such as, sugary enzymes to generate electricity from carbohydrates - instead of traditional energy source as battery. In the text below, Daizi Zheng further elaborates on this project: ###Eco-friendly phone for NokiaThis is a client project for designing an eco friendly phone for Nokia. Through out my research, I found that phone battery as a power source, it is expensive, consuming valuable resources on manufacturing, presenting a disposal problem and harmful to the environment. The concept is using bio battery to replace the traditional battery to create a pollution free environment.Bio battery is an ecologically friendly energy generates electricity from carbohydrates (currently sugar) and utilizes enzymes as the catalyst. ### However, the days ahead will only witness how far this project can be carried out by big names to further redefine this bio battery initiative for mobile devices to ensure a Green future. You can check out this whole project details by visiting Dezeen.
