Sony Ericsson has unveiled the W995, the first handset to use the company's Media Go software, which is designed to transfer and organise your media files without any problems, regardless of the formats or codecs they use. Sony Ericsson spokesman Alexandre Cardon says that media will display 'as good on your phone as it was on your PC'. Here's hoping this means that Media Go won't convert all your files to a Sony-specific format, as was common with many ATRAC-obsessed Sony MP3 players. The phone's feature list positions it as a clear multimedia phone: Wi-Fi™ and Turbo 3G – with easy video access to YouTube and other entertainment sites 2.6-inch display - with desk built-in stand 3.5mm audio jack plus built-in speakers 8.1 megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom 8GB Memory Stick™ Micro aGPS, allowing you to tag your photos or track your position with Google Maps™ The W995 will be available in Q2 2009.
