Aircel launched GSM services in Pune with variety of attractive tariff plans

Aircel on Monday announced the launch of its GSM mobile services in Pune. The operator has more than 20 million subscribers throughout the country and Pune became its 18th circle of operation. The company would charge Re one for the first local outgoing call, 50 paise for second minute and then onwards the calls would be charged at 30 paise per minute. On STD calls the company would offer an in-built tariff plan of Re 1 for the first minute and the second minute onwards at 75 paise. It also has some interesting plans for the migrant population of the country. Under this plan Aircel would offer STD calls at 50 paise for the first three months to Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Chennai and Delhi.
