India's first 3G mobile services provider MTNL today launched its 3G services for the prepaid customers at an affordable tariff of only Rs 300. As prepaid is the prefered choice of mobile services in the country, MTNL is hopeful that by launching a service for the masses by this mode would definitely attract more number of customers. With the new tariff plan launched by MTNL, with a prepaid service pack of Rs300, a customer can make a video call at Rs 1.8 and data download at Rs 3 per mb. The service pack also comes up with a lifetime validity. The state-run telecom operator launched the 3G service in Delhi in December last year and in Mumbai last month.
