Google has made calling the business easier with a feature that allows advertisers to add a clickable local phone number to their mobile ads
Published on Mar 17, 2011
With this feature, if you're searching for a local business on your mobile device - using an iPhone, Android, or other smartphone - you simply need to click the number listed below the web site or ad information to make a call suited to your business or personal needs. Google fetches the result for your business search, and related phone numbers, based on your location. In short, you have the advantage of calling the nearest location, not some distant location, for any store having multiple locations with this feature. Furthermore, Google provides you with the option of My Location to make sure you get search results that are tailored to your location. You can check out about how to add a clickable phone number to your ads on the Inside Adwords blog for more details.
