MWC 2011: Acer announces Iconia Smart and Iconia Tab

Acer has launched Iconia series smartphone and tablet devices, Iconia Smart, Iconia Tab A500 and Iconia Tab W500 at MWC 2011

The curvy Acer Iconia Smart comes with a massive 4.8 inch display, 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front for video calling. The device runs Android 2.3 Gingerboard OSThe touchscreen device offers innovative feature in form of four hardware keys: Home, Search, Back and Menu, a design which the company describes as "revolutionary". The smartphone integrates Java script optimization, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 support, multiple page opening, ultra-fast high-speed connectivity via HSDPA at 14.4 and Wi-Fi ‘n’ for data connection.The next device Acer Iconia Tab A100 sports a 7 inch screen, dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and runs Goggle's latest OS Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb. The tablet device packs a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera for taking images and a 2 megapixel front-facing snapper for chat. The Iconia Tab A500 version comes with a massive 10.1-inch screen and share somewhat similar specs as that of A100. This model also also runs Android 3.0 with home network integration. With this device, you can watch HD videos via the HDMI port.And the last Iconia series model is the Acer Iconia Tab W500, a  Windows 7 Phone device. The Iconia Tab W500 comes with an optional keyboard dock, AMD C-50 processor with Radeon HD 6250, a USB port and an Ethernet port.
