CMA 2009: LG introduces 'Viewty Smart'

LG's latest launch, the 'Viewty Smart' is technically a much improved version of its hugely popular predecessor 'LG Viewty'

In this year's CommunicAsia event, its LG who drew the maximum attention among all the mobile phone manufacturers, mainly because of its slew of phone launches. In this occasion, among others, LG launched an 8 megapixel camera phone called 'Viewty Smart'. Sonds familiar to your ears? Well, you are right. Its from the Viewty family, but much improved. LG Viewty Smart (GC900) is a 8 megapixel camera phone with touch screen functionalities. The company claims it has brought intelligence into the mobile camera technology with this phone. The phone introduces Intelligent Shot mode to a mobile phone camera, which LG claims a 'first' for a mobile phone. In this mode, LG Viewty Smart automatically analyzes the subject, background and lighting conditions and adjusts camera settings accordingly to ensure hassle-free, picture perfect results every time.  In that way its 'Smart'--Viewty Smart. The Viewty Smart is just 12.4 mm thick and weighs in at a mere 102g. This will be available in India by June end.
