Country's leading telecom operator Bharti Airtel becomes world's third largest 'single-country' operator when  it announced it has reached the 100 million subscriber mark today. What it means is every fourth Indian mobile subscriber is on Airtel's network. Bharti Airtel which started its business in 1995 and since then has been the leader in the telecom space in India. The Sunil Bharti Mittal led corporation enjoys 25% market share in terms of subscriber numbers and more than 30% in terms of total telecom revenue in the country.
