Sharp Business Systems (India) Ltd, a unit of Japan's Sharp Corporation, has now forayed into the mobile phone market in India. The company has announced four new phones which will be sold in between a price range of Rs. 6,500 to Rs. 17,000 in India.Already popular and a leading mobile phone brand in Japan, the newly launched Sharp devices are targeted at trendy and young mobile phone users in India. The Sharp handsets come with superb features that include full touch LCD screen, G-sensor, SNS shortcuts, LED illumination, Bluetooth, dual SIM and camera. Alice by Sharp comes with a responsive full touchscreen, 3 megapixel camera, front stereo speakers, and G-sensor. The device will be offered in red and black colours at an expected price of Rs. 8,500. Another phone by Sharp, the Blink is a dual SIM clamshell device featuring a 2 megapixel camera with LED illumination. Sharp's Blink is offered at a price of Rs. 6,500 in India.The third device in the series, Cyborg by Sharp comes in a Cycloid form. It's a clamshell device which can be rotated for better viewing and ease of using. Equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera, the device is priced at Rs. 17,000. Sharp's Tango mobile phone offers a 180 degree swivel touchscreen. It's again a clamshell device equipped with a 5 megapixel camera, G-sensor, pedometer. This high-end phone will be priced approximately around Rs. 18,000.
