HTC has announced two new Android devices - HTC Desire, Legend and another compact version of HTC HD2 - the HD Mini. HTC Desire and Legend introduce a new HTC app termed as HTC Friend Stream. This widget enables users with organised and centralised update of social networking platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. Equipped with an optical joystick for navigation, both HTC Desire and Legend come with a new newsreader application and a new seven-screen 'Leap' thumbnail view for quick and easy access to specific screens. The third release in this series, the HD Mini, a Windows phone, features HTC Sense. We take a quick look at the spec details of these hot new HTC devices.HTC DesireHTC Desire comes with a 3.7 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display with anti-fingerprint screen coating feature. The 3G+ enabled device is equipped with the updated HTC Sense UI. The key features of HTC desire include a 1 GHZ Snapdragon processor, optical trackpad and an FM radio. Furthermore, HTC Desire showcases four physical hardware keys running along the bottom (Home, Menu, Back, Search). Available through different carriers, HTC Desire will go on sale in Europe and Asia in the coming months.HTC LegendEncased in a single block of aluminum and equipped with a responsive optical trackpad, other than a physical trackball, HTC Legend offers seamless browsing experience while scrolling through the HTC Legend's menus. Powered with Android 2.1 (Eclair), HTC Legend features an upgraded 3.2 inch AMOLED screen, which nicely displays the new HTC Sense UI. The device is preloaded with a 5-megapixel camera and it will be available exclusively via Vodafone from April.The HD MiniThe HD Mini is a compact version of earlier released HTC HD2 device. HD Mini boasts of a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display. The elegantly designed device, HD Mini features a bright yellow internal structure and battery. The smartphone is also compatible for mobile Wi-Fi hotspot for computer or other wireless devices. The HD Mini is slated to be launched in Europe and Asia by the month of March.
