Spice Mobile has launched three new 3G ready Android-based devices - Mi-300 smartphone and Mi-410, Mi-700 tablets

Launched under the banner of "Connected Spice Life," the new Android-based smartphones announced by Spice Mobile are mainly targeted at capturing the upcoming 3G mobile market in India.The first one in this series is Spice Mi-300 smartphone that comes preloaded with customized proprietary apps developed by Spice. The Mi-300 Spice phone comes 3.5G ready and offers a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen display. Powered by the Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset, Spice Mi-300 smartphone packs a 5 megapixel camera. The other key features of Spice Mi-300 include support for GPS (with A-GPS), Wi-Fi, Google Mobile Services, accelerometer and a proximity sensor. It is priced at Rs. 9,990 in the Indian market.The next in line is a HD mini-tablet Spice Mi-410 that sports a 4.1 inch HVGA screen. The Android-based Mi-410 supports Wi-Fi, 3G and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor. This mini-tablet device is slated to be launched in the Q4 and the pricing will be announced at the time of launch. The last device in this series is Spice Mi-700 mobile Internet tablet device that boasts of a 7 inch HVGA screen. This Android touchscreen tablet comes with somewhat similar specs as that of Spice Mi-400 mini-tablet. The key features of Spice Mi-700 Internet tablet device include a hot-swappable memory card slot, dual cameras and Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset. Spice Mi-700 tablet is also slated to be launched in the Q4 along with Mi-410.
