Motorola has launched five new entry-level handsets in the Indian market under its popular MOTOYUVA series of phones. The new devices are offered within cheap price of Rs. 1490 to Rs. 2890 range, thereby offering basic functionalities to the user at affordable prices.The new handsets include the Moto WX181, Moto WX260, Moto WX265, Moto WX290 and Moto WX295 phones. Among these new launches, Moto WX181 is the most basic phone featuring a 1.5 inch color display. The phone has a mini USB port and comes with a built-in FM radio with GSM 900/1800 support. The absence of a memory card slot leaves the user with limited memory. The phone comes with a standby time of 220-380 hours with Connector Mini USB and talktime of about 180-540 hours. The Moto WX260 handset (pic above) comes with a 1.8 inch display as well as supports USB connectivity and GPRS Class 10. It weighs about 83 grams and uses MicroSD cards to support memory expansion up to 2GB. The device has an in-built FM radio and a 750 mAh Lithium battery, which provides standby time of about 420-620 hours. The Moto WX265 mobile phone (pic above) features a 1.8 inch display and includes features such as GPRS Class 10 support, pre-loaded games and MP3 ringtones. The handset supports Bluetooth and MicroSD up to 2GB. An enhanced model Moto WX290 (pic above) comes enabled with GPRS Class 10 support, built-in FM radio, Bluetooth connectivity and a VGA camera. In addition, the device supports MicroSD card slot of maximum 2GB. The model flaunts a 65k TFT, 1.8-inch display with 128x160 pixels. The Moto WX295 model (pic above) adopts the clamshell form and supports similar features as the WX290. It is an advanced phone with preloaded games, providing 2 displays of which the external display is 96x16 pixels and internal is 1.8 inch in size and 128×160 pixels. The phone sports various features including removable MicroSD memory up to 2GB, Connector Mini USB, GPRS, Bluetooth, MMS, FM Radio, camera, standby time of about 420-620 hours with a talktime of 180-480 minutes. However, the icing on the cake for the young mobile users is going to be the cheap prices of these devices as one can avail these handsets within a modest price bracket of about Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000.
