Finally, there's a good news for Apple fanboys out there. The online reports doing the round suggest that the Apple iPad is around the corner and may reach India in next three days. As per The Telegraph, Apple is going to launch the iPad on January 28.Somehow, India has always been the last recipient as far as the global launch of Apple's devices are concerned. Although, the Apple iPhone 3GS has arrived in this part of the world, the new iPhone 4 has yet to make the official entry in India.The Apple iPad received phenomenal response in the US since the day it was launched and the company sold over one million iPads within a month of its launch. Apple's tablet device iPad allows users to connect with their apps and content in a more intuitive way than ever before. The iPad sports a 9.7-inch, 1024x768 pixel LCD multitouch screen display and comes in models having 16-64GB memory versions. With this device, you can browse the web, read and send email, enjoy and share photos, watch HD videos, listen to music, play games, read ebooks, all using iPad’s revolutionary Multi-Touch user interface.Powered by Apple's next-generation 1GHz microprocessor A4, the device comes equipped with iOS4.2, Wi-Fi, a speaker Bluetooth, microphone and internal speaker. The iPad supports 10 hours' battery life with a month's standby time. However, the most surprising aspect is the pricing details of Apple's new tablet device in India. Reportedly, the 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB Wi-Fi variants of the iPad will be offered within a price range of Rs. 26,000 to Rs 37,000. Also, the Wi-Fi version with a 3G SIM may be priced between Rs. 33,000 to Rs. 44,000, depending on the storage capacity of 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB, reports The Telegraph. The iPad will be sold only by Apple's Premium Retailers. Now, it remains to be seen how much the launch of Apple iPad will impact the other existing premium tablet devices market in India, mainly the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Dell Streak.
