Korean mobile manufacturer Samsung has launched four new handsets in the global market, aimed at those looking for a cheaper low- or mid-range mobile solution. However, the company has not revealed anything about when these phones would come to India. The top model is the S6700, a slider phone with a 2.4-inch screen. It features a 3-megapixel camera, GPS, HSDPA, Bluetooth and support for SDHC cards to mitigate for the fact it only has 120MB onboard. The camera has a flash and autofocus, which should make it capable enough for standard size print-outs. Sliding down the range a rung, we have the C5510. Similar in its slider design, the C5510 shaves a few edges off the S6700 by dropping the megapixel count of its camera down to two, removing the autofocus and reducing the screen to 2.2-inches. The remaining M2310 and M2510 have dedicated music keys, but otherwise have a lower-end feature set than either the S6700 or C5510. The M2510 is a slider phone with a 1.3-megapixel camera while the runt of the litter is the flip phone M2310, which comes packed with a VGA camera. Even though these phones are designed more for affordability than with a flashy feature set in mind, they’ve all got a 3.5mm jack, meaning you won’t have to use a pesky proprietary cable to listen to your tunes.
