The news of the Apple slashing the price of its popular first-gen iPad has created a lot of excitement among the Indian iPad fans. According to Apple the price of the original version of the iPadwill be dropped by $100. But whether Apple's goodwill will trickle down to India is something that is being speculated. With no formal announcement been made on this front so far, we will just have to wait and watch. Pegged between Rs. 27,900 and Rs. 44,900, the popular iPad tablet was launched in India recently after a 10 months delay.  Meanwhile if you are curious to meet the Mr. who led iPad to drop a 100 pounds, say hello to Apple's newest smashing creation, the iPad 2.
