Aircel, a telecom operator hitherto more focused on Southern and Eastern part of India today launched its services in the national capital, Delhi. At launch, the company introduced many attractive tariff plans. In one plan which is available for Rs 99 would allow users to make local calls at Rs one for the first minute, 60 paise for the second minute and 40 paise for the third minute onwards. To address the needs of SMEs and professionals, the company offers a user-friendly recharge scheme that will enable them make calls and messages absolutely free of cost across Aircel local network and make STD calls at 50 paise from one Aircel to another. The company is also planning to launch ‘Youth of Delhi’ plan that would offer services like unlimited song change, free talk time for local calls at night, group messaging at 1 paise, group calling at 25 paise and calls to the US and Canada at Rs.2 per minute. Aircel is India's fifth largest GSm operator with more than 17 million customers.
