HTC has launched the HTC HD mini in India, a Windows Phone powered by the intuitive HTC Sense interface

HTC has been on a launching spree in the recent times and the smartphone market in India has witnessed the release of few high-end HTC devices in quick succession. After the successful launch of HTC Smart and HTC Legend, the company has now unveiled the HTC HD mini smartphone in India. The HTC HD mini first showed up at the MWC 2010 event along with HTC Desire and HTC Legend. Couple of the devices of this lineup has now marked their entry into the booming smartphone market in India. And the latest entrant, the HTC HD mini comes with capacitive touch for viewing, zooming and resizing websites, Microsoft Office files, PDF documents and pictures with just a pinch of your fingers. Sporting a high degree of usability along with its own unique and beautiful design, the HTC HD mini utilizes HTC Sense, a user experience focused on putting people at the centre by making the phone work in a more simple and natural way. The elegantly designed device, HTC HD mini boasts of a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display and features a bright yellow internal structure and battery."The HTC HD mini fulfils a desire from some customers to bring the capabilities and experience of the HTC HD2 to a more compact design," said Ajay Sharma, Country Head, HTC India. "The integration of HTC Sense and Windows Phone on HD mini and HD2 gives customers an additional choice for an advanced Windows mobile phone that is sleek, well crafted and easy to use."Taking a cue from its predecessor, the HTC HD2, the HTC HD mini smartphone continues the same focus on people-centric communication. The device helps you stay close to the important friends and colleagues in your life by providing a single contact view. HTC's Windows-based Twitter application, HTC Peep, enables you to tweet and follow your twitter stream.Leveraging its 3G broadband connectivity, the HTC HD mini also offers personal Wi-Fi hotspot anywhere for your computer or other wireless devices. The HD mini can also be further enhanced to reflect your needs and style by downloading a variety of applications from the Windows Marketplace for Mobile. The new HTC HD mini will be available at a Market Operating Price of Rs. 23,490 at all authorized HTC resellers across the country. However, prices may vary according to the local applicable taxes.
