Airtel to bring iPhone 4 in India by October

Airtel is soon going to offer a Diwali present to its subscribers as Airtel plans to release iPhone 4 by September-October timeframe

As reported earlier that Airtel and Vodafone are planning to bring Apple iPhone 4 in India, Airtel has now officially revealed its plans for the same. "We are working with Apple. Hopefully, we will launch it in the September-October timeframe," Bharti Airtel CEO Sanjay Kapoor told reporters. The new Apple iPhone 4 comes with pretty impressive feature set that include iPhone 4.0 (iOS4), Retina display with 960 by 640 resolution and two cameras. Equipped with 720p HD video recording, the iPhone 4 offers video calling with FaceTime, proximity, light and camera light sensor.Earlier, Vodafone has also posted a press release on its corporate web site indicating that Vodafone will offer Apple iPhone 4 to subscribers in the coming months.
