Based on Meego platform, the N950 is the successor of Nokia N900 smartphone and replaces the recently canned Meego-powered Nokia N9. Featuring large touch screen display, 1.2GHz processor, 12-megapixel camera, 768MB of RAM, Nokia N950 is reported to be a follow up to 2009’s Nokia N900. That said, with all the Windows Phone 7 developments within Nokia it’s hard to really see anyone taking MeeGo seriously. After all, one analyst recently described it as the “biggest joke in tech”.Nevertheless Nokia is seen pressing on with the Nokia N950.Nokia N950 is expected to be launched in India either later this year or early 2012.
