Samsung Guru series mobile phones are already doing the rounds on TV commercials with Aamir Khan, their brand ambassador, promoting the device in a soap like ongoing ad series. With the launch of Guru 1175, Samsung has added another basic device to its Guru series portfolio.The latest Guru 1175 phone  comes in an ergonomic design with FM radio offering up to 23 hours of playtime, 40 poly and MP3 ringtones. The stylish device is well equipped with other basic and useful features. It comes preloaded with a torch, Bike Mode and automatic call response. By enabling the Bike Mode of the device, users can get calls from select few contacts only while driving and the rest of the contacts will get busy message tone once they try to reach the user.Mr. Ranjit Yadav, Director, Mobile & IT, Samsung Indian Electronics Pvt. Ltd said, "The new, stylish Guru 1175 is a valuable addition to the popular Guru series of Samsung phones in the essential phone segment. The Guru series stand differentiated in the market on account of their longer battery life, bright torch light, regional language display and advanced mobile tracker. The feature–packed Guru 1175 introduces style to the series along with all the features the Guru series is known for and more".The key features of Samsung Guru 1175 model include a 1.52 inch CSTN screen, extended battery life of 1000mAH, up to 12 hours of talk time, 650 hours of standby time. The phone comes equipped with an enhanced memory of 1 MB supporting 1000 phonebook memory and 500 SMS entries. The other basic features of this device include Mobile Tracker, Fake call, SOS messages, Indian calendar, 9 regional language support and four games that include Carrom, Suduku, Super Jewel Quest and Cricket.The Samsung Guru 1175 mobile phone will be available at a price tag of Rs. 1,690 in India.
