Triple SIM is the new trend for phones in India. We round up our favourite five. AKAI Trio The AKAI Trio is a GSM triple SIM phone, available for Rs. 3295. The AKAI Trio is a pretty level entry device though. It features a 2.1-inch screen, numerical keypad and support for three GSM phones. However, the AKAI Trio doubles up as a multimedia device, with a microSD card slot, suitable for cards up to 8GB. It also includes an FM radio, eBook reader and class media player. The AKAI Trio is also super-powerful with a hefty 1100mAh battery, giving you enough power for 400 minutes standby or five hours talktime. A triple SIM all rounder. Zen M111 The Zen M111 was one of the first triple SIM GSM phones to launch in India. The Zen M111 features a 2.4-inch display and 1.3-megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. There's also an FM radio onboard, plus Bluetooth and GPRS. Unfortunately, there's no high speed browsing or Wi-Fi, but you can browse the web using WAP and for multimedia fans, the Zen M111 supports memory cards up to 8GB. A substantial 1500mAh battery will keep the phone going for up to 300 minutes of standby with a talktime of up to 280 hours. The Zen M111 is priced at Rs.3,499. Olive Wiz Well-known Indian manufacturer Olive has launched into the triple SIM market with its Olive Wiz phone. The live Wiz is one of the best-specced triple SIM phone available, with a 2-megapixel camera and a Qwerty keyboard. The screen is 2.2-inches, while there's a who;e heap of social networking features too. You'll find a decent media player onboard the Olive Wiz, and all this is available for Rs. 5,000 A top device for business users and social networkers alike. LePhone A10 The LePhone A10 can run on two GSM SIM cards and ne CDMA SIM card at the same time. The triple SIM card features a 3.2-megapixel camera and a 2-inch screen with built in accelerometer for rotating media such as photos or videos. The LePhone A10 features an FM radio and an MP3 player with recording functionality. The LePhone A10 is available for Rs. 4,900 and offers 300 minutes talktime and 150 hours standby. Intex IN 5030 The Intex IN 5030 is a sleek phone that supports three SIM cards - two GSM SIM cards and one CDMA. An extra special feature of the Intex IN 5030 is that you can have two batteries too, for optimum battery life. The camera is 1.3-megapixels and the Intex IN 5030 supports microSD cards up to 4GB in capacity. As you'd expect, there's an FM radio onboard, with added recording capability. The Intex IN 5030 is available for Rs. 4,700.
