Samsung partners BSNL and MTNL to offer 3G services on its high-end mobile devices, becomes the first mobile company to bundle handsets for 3G services in India

Samsung Mobile today said it has partnered BSNL and MTNL to offer 3G services in the country. Both BSNL and MTNL have recently launched much-waited 3G services in India. The Korean mobile manufacturer will provide high-end mobile handsets for BSNL and MTNL's 3G services and is looking at up to 45 per cent of its total sales being generated from multimedia and touchscreen phones. Samsung is currently giving a special bundling offer for BSNL and MTNL consumers on select handsets for 3G services. Also, Samsung today launched an 8 mega pixel touchscreen, 3G enabled phone 'Ultra' in India. Priced at Rs 27,500, Samsung Ultra is capable of offering speedy internet access, video telephony, video streaming and multimedia services.
