The Droid X presents a 4.3 inch high-res screen for viewing the latest movies and video from BLOCKBUSTER On Demand presented by V CAST Video, along with the access to favorite TV shows. The Droid X sports an 8 megapixel camera, Swype keyboard, HD camcorder, as well as DLNA and HDMI connectivity to download, stream and share personal HD content.The device is further integrated with loads of memory, intuitive social messaging, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 ready and access to Android Market, offering more than 65,000 applications. Offering ultra high-speed web browsing, it introduces a host of unique Verizon Wireless applications such as NFL Mobile, Skype mobile, V CAST Video, EA Need for Speed Shift and more.Sanjay Jha, co-chief executive officer of Motorola and chief executive officer of Motorola Mobile Devices and Home business said, "Motorola designed Droid X to push the extreme limits of Android innovation, and enable you to do even more with your mobile device. It comes preloaded with Google Maps with free navigation, eCompass, 3.5mm headset jack and Bluetooth 2.1with EDR. The device supports WebKit based browser (HTML5), 8GB onboard memory and 16GB microSD pre-installed. With 1540 mAh battery, users can enjoy talk time up to 480 minutes and standby time up to 220 hours.The latest Motorola smartphone Droid X comes with Android 2.2 (Froyo) and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 upgrade. With Android 2.2. update, the device will support for both Exchange and Gmail for business.
