Alcatel ICE, a co-branding partnership between TCT International Mobile Limited and ICE Mobile Network Systems (P) Limited, has introduced Alcatel ICE3 mobile phone in India. Targeting the younger generation, the device unfolds new world of delight for the users of social networks. The phone features QWERTY keyboard for fast messages to mailboxes, instant messaging (E-mail POP3, IMAP4) and access to social networks. The new Alcatel ICE3 device presents host of multimedia functions that support multi IM client and social networking services: Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Bebo etc. The phone comes with predefined settings for News and Weather updates.Alcatel ICE3 comes in clamshell design with a 2.4 inch TFT colour display. It offers full QWERTY keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera with video recorder and image editor, MP3 player and FM radio. The device is enabled with GPRS, EDGE, USB, JAVA MIDP 2.0, WAP 2.0 and Bluetooth stereo 2.0 (A2DP).Users can enjoy music playback time up to 35 hours with this phone. It comes with 80 MB of internal memory and up to 8GB micro SD card support. Preloaded with Lithium Ion 850 mAh battery, the device allows standby time up to 450 hours and talk time up to 9 hours.Available in pink chrome and dark chrome colours, Alcatel ICE3 mobile phone costs around Rs. 7,000 and will go on retail by ICE Mobile network systems.
