Notion Ink has now officially launched Adam Tablet and it is now available for pre-orders along with the pricing details

As reported yesterday, Notion Ink Adam Tablet is now available for pre-orders. The device weighs around 1.6 pounds and comes in a 269 mm x 191 mm x 14 mm dimension. Equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 250 chip with dual core Cortex A-9, the device sports a 10.1 inch WSVGAscreen with multi touch, anti-glare and scratch resistant features.It will come powered with Android 2.3 with Kernel version 2.6.35. Enabled with WLAN, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and 3G HSPA, the Adam packs a 3.2 megapixel auto focus swivel camera. It comes with Universal Charger, 3 cell 24.6Whr battery, 8+ GB Flash with micro-SD card support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.The pricing details of Adam are mentioned below:Backlit LCD, Wifi only - $375.33 Backlit LCD, Wifi + 3G - $425.33Pixel Qi LCD, Wifi only - $499.45Pixel Qi LCD, Wifi + 3G - $549.99The official Notion Ink blog reiterates that the first access would be given to those who had commented on their blog "before the last post". To carry out this, all selected will be sent a confirmation email and pre-order link which will remain active for 6 hours from the receipt of that email. Pre-booking for them will start at 10 December 00:00 AM IST. After 6 hours, it will be open to everyone (which would be 06:00 AM IST)!The blog post further adds: "Adam is launching with the same price in all the countries, so if you are in a stronger currency country (hello Europe!) you’d be more happy. Notion Ink will always follow One Price Policy for every country as we believe in Globalization and World being our market, not countries."The pre-orders for all the above Adam Tablet variants will ship within 6 to 8 weeks.
