Acer has officially announced the launch of HD video capable Acer Stream smartphone

Dubbed as the "Perfect Entertainment Machine" Acer Stream packs a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera that feature 720p HD video capture and a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. With the inclusion of an HDMI output port, the device offers seamless videos on large screens.Acer Stream runs Android 2.1 and comes with customized software and user experience featuring animations and a 3D interface. The other key features of this device include 512MB RAM, 2GB internal storage with an extra 8GB microSD card, Bluetooth 2.1, 3G+ HSDPA connectivity, A-GPS and Wi-Fi.The Stream deals with H.264, XviD and WMV format files and offers FM radio, UPnP technology and Dolby Mobile sound system. The smartphone features a History panel for quick access to oft-used apps along with a choice of three different predictive keyboards.The pricing details of Acer Stream has not been officially announced as yet.
