Mother is the necessity of innovation and expansion. With rising costs in China and India, Nokia Oyj, the world’s biggest maker of mobile phones is now looking at Vietnam as its next viable location for manufacturing low -end handsets. The finland-based company aims to cement its position as the biggest manufacturer of phones for emerging markets and upgrade users of basic devices to more powerful feature handsets with Web browsers as higher-speed networks come on line. Even while the smartphones are creating buzz with their unique features and flexible programing, the limited feature, low end phones continue to garner a fair share. According to market analysts, Nokia's move shows its clear focus on the low -end of the market and, as they put it, connecting the next billion Internet users, which will not be through smartphones, but through low-end phones.
